Why It Matters

Every shirt tells a story. From reconciliation to environmental action, each cause we support is more than a theme day, it’s an opportunity to teach empathy, spark conversation, and foster community spirit.

We’ve chosen meaningful, nationally recognized days that align with school curriculums and values, helping kids not only participate, but understand why it matters.

Causes We Support

  • Truth & Reconciliation (Orange Shirt Day)

    Date: September 30

We honour the survivors of residential schools and recognize the impact of colonial history on Indigenous Peoples. Orange Shirt Day is a powerful moment to affirm that Every Child Matters.

  • International Day of Persons with Disabilities

    Date: December 3

This day is dedicated to promoting understanding of the rights and well-being of people with disabilities, both visible and invisible. In schools, it’s an important opportunity to encourage empathy, inclusion, and accessibility.

  • Pink Shirt Day (Anti-Bullying)

    Date: Last Wednesday in February

Originally inspired by a simple act of kindness, Pink Shirt Day began when two high school students in Nova Scotia stood up for a classmate who was bullied for wearing pink. They bought and handed out dozens of pink shirts to show their support, and started a movement that now spans across Canada and beyond.

  • Earth Day

    Date: April 22

Kids learn the importance of protecting our planet. We help turn values like reduce, reuse, recycle into actions that last a lifetime.

  • Pride Month

    Date: June

We celebrate love, identity, and inclusivity. Pride Month is a chance for all kids to see that being yourself is something to be proud of, and something we stand up for.

  • September Run Day

    Date: September

The Terry Fox Run is more than a school event, it’s a national tradition and a powerful tribute to one of Canada’s greatest heroes. In 1980, at just 22 years old, Terry Fox began his Marathon of Hope, running across Canada to raise money for cancer research, on one leg, after losing the other to cancer. Though he was forced to stop his journey after 143 days and 5,373 kilometers, Terry’s legacy continues to inspire millions.

Every shirt is an opportunity. When your child opens their Peasy Parcel, it’s more than just a Tshirt, it’s a conversation starter. Each delivery includes a short, age-appropriate explanation of the cause and a few questions to help guide family discussion.

Join the Movement

Let’s raise a generation that leads with empathy, stands for justice, and celebrates what makes us different. One shirt at a time.
