Motivation for Building This Learning Series

Founder’s Note

When I created this fundraising learning series, my goal was to help schools and community groups across Canada—from Calgary and Edmonton to Vancouver, Toronto, Ottawa and Winnipeg—feel confident choosing the right fundraising strategy. The fundraising landscape is wide, and every community is balancing different needs: donor motivations, funding goals, volunteer capacity, and the desire for a fundraiser that feels aligned with their school and community culture.

There are higher‑margin fundraisers available. There are fundraisers that require more effort but deliver bigger returns. And there are fundraisers—like Easy Peasy Tees—that intentionally prioritize accessibility, community engagement, predictable results, and a low lift for organizers. Understanding how each option fits into a broader school fundraising strategy in Canada is essential, and that’s why this series exists.

My motivation was to clearly and credibly articulate where Easy Peasy Tees fits within the Canadian fundraising ecosystem. We’re not the only fundraiser, and we’re not trying to be. Instead, we’re a strategic choice for schools and teams looking for a simple, community‑aligned, Canada‑first fundraiser that respects time, energy, and donor experience—whether you’re in a large city like Toronto or Vancouver, or a smaller community anywhere in the country.

If this series helps you understand how to choose the right fundraiser for your goals—even if that choice isn’t us—then it’s done its job. And if Easy Peasy Tees becomes part of your fundraising mix, we’ll be here with a joyful, streamlined, family‑friendly experience that supports your community and amplifies your impact.
